The homework has been crazy this week.
I have been stressed out.
But I only have to think about Christmas cookies and all the worries just fade away.
Work it, Santa. You got it goin on.

Christmas
Christmas is coming so fast. I can't believe it. It'll be said to see this year go. But hey, there's always another year. I really hope 2012 doesn't kill me, literally. Ha!
Mainstream
It's kind of funny how mainstream American music has become. But with this cliche comes some bands like Foster the People who give mainstream music a more techno, original feel which is very refreshing to listeners who don't want to know about someones Last Friday Night. Just the other day, I was jamming on my way to school and this new Katy Perry song came on (i couldn't even tell you the name) and it sounded like some other song that had already been created. The beat so common, the lyrics so unoriginal. Pop music in America has become like a pair of white dirty socks-- simple and used.

“If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.”
It's easy to get caught up in life. In its quirks, its miracles, its disasters. It's easy to be swayed by judgement from the people around you and the hate that some project into the world. But why get caught up when there's a beautiful world out there just ready to explore? Maybe it's because we don't have enough patience. Maybe its because were discouraged or afraid or unwilling to take the next step. But why live life afraid? Those who live afraid of the world and its problems are those who are unsure of their path in life. And the path of fear leads to nothing good. Those who walk that path encounter crime, drugs, and others who aren't sure of themselves. Why do so many find that path the rewarding one? Life is hard. Yes, it is, and I would be lying to you if I said anything other than that. But excitement should fill our hearts and souls not fearfulness. The more we concentrate on keeping our heads clear and our chins up, the more rewarding life will be for us.
